Founded in 1936, this was the first Hebrew docking port established in Mandate Palestine. The port recently underwent a substantial renovation and is now one of Tel Aviv’s most vivacious areas to eat, shop and enjoy nightlife. Its breathtaking waterfront has an undulating wooden boardwalk lined with restaurants, bars and some of the city’s trendiest nightclubs. The site is also home to a thriving farmer’s market, a spa and numerous clothing stores. The port is almost never empty: Exercise buffs appear early in the morning, families stroll and stop for lunch, while revelers hit the clubs and dance bars after dark.
