No visit to Tel Aviv is complete with out a stop at the Carmel Market. Its narrow, twisting streets are bursting with stalls and shops selling everything from fresh produce, meats and cheeses to fresh flowers, sweets, toiletries and clothing, all at rock-bottom prices. Midday on Friday, when everyone prepares for the weekend, is one of the liveliest times to visit.
